UPSC Indian Engineering Services (IES) Examination - Eligibility

Indian Engineering Services or IES are the civil services examination, conducted by the Government of India for the recruitment of its civil servants and officials on the basis of merit. Government of India conduct this competitive exam to fill the middle management positions in the bureaucracy. It is a dream of every engineer to become an IES officer.

A systematic and proper guidance of an expert is a must for becoming an IES officer. Lakhs of engineering graduates from all over the country compete in the IES exam for a few hundred seats, every year. IES is one of the toughest and most competitive exams of India. As cut throat competition is there so adequate preparation with the proper syllabus of the examination and an analytical approach considering the previous year’s question papers will help in achieving success in the examination. IES Examination is conducted by UPSC every year.
